The production has been a vast favorite amongst many DJs and club go-ers and, over time, evolved into an absolute Ibiza anthem. British vocalist Anita Kelsey, who delivered the mesmerizing vocals on the original D*Note release, is once again responsible for the powerful vocal part on the first Housequake release. The original is an all-time favorite, say both Roog and Erick E. It was one of the reasons why Roog and his brother Greg recorded a single with Anita Kelsey a couple of years ago (Wicked World). Making use of the opportunity, Roog asked Anita if he could get the acappella of 'Shed My Skin' for use in his own DJ sets. The positive answer was baffling enough, but Anita asking to create a 2009 edit of the classic was beyond all expectations. Obviously both Roog and Erick E jumped to the chance!The Housequake edit got its first airtime during the Housequake beach special in Auquabest (23rd May), with Anita Kelsey singing live on stage.
