Following on the stunning remix for Micromattic's « Under Over The Clouds » (AR1), Opuswerk provides 3 remarkable tracks for his debut EP on Absolutive Records. His intricate compositions reveal the wide sound palette and elegiac influences that inspire this artist’s musical visions. Opuswerk's activities naturally evolve with several releases and remixes for different labels (Absolutive records, Hope recordings, PonyPlay). This evolution also shifts the sound to a more organic palette and the originality of their compositions finds its place among the record bags of artists such as: Nick Warren, Stephan Bodzin, Marc Romboy, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Gregor Tresher... They confirm their coming-up position with remarkable live performances, particularily at the Halle02 in Heidelberg for the STFU festival and at Berlin 's Mikz club.
By the end of 2009, Opuswerk becomes a solo project run by Hendrik. Following a little production break to obtain his Master of Science in Architecture, Opuswerk is re-activated with the vision of pursuing the organic direction taken previously and fusion all his influences; dub, jazz, house, 90's minimal. His liveact follows directly those guidelines and aims at providing both subtle and joyous vibes to the dancefloor.
Passionate by basslines, syncopated rythms, hypnotic melodies, distortions, russian sonorities, his musical universe construct itself like it is deconstructed around smilar yet different structures, repetitive and melodic. His musical activities express themselves, via producing, playing liveacts and dj sets.
