After more than 20 years in the industry, co-founder of The Herbaliser and Soundsci group member, DJ Ollie Teeba, is dropping his first solo production LP. Featuring collaborations with his Hip Hop family, Oxygen, Audessey & UGeorge (Soundsci), Ghettosocks & Timbuktu (Teenburger), Jean Grae, More or Les and Ev.On the Music Bully. With production collaboration from The Herbaliser and Jonny Cuba as well as mixing and mastering from UK Hip Hop legend No Sleep Nigel.
The recordings on this album span a period of more than 10 years and showcase a variety of styles informed by a boom-bap aesthetic.
Representing Hip Hop since the late 1980's, with experience in both clubs and live band performance worldwide. Ollie's instincts of what will rock the floor, are brought to bear on many DJ friendly tracks featured here.
An entertaining listen from start to finish. The tough beats are interwoven with Mr Teeba's quirky sense of humour, throughout.
All packaged within a superbly designed sleeve with artwork by World Expo's design guru Mr Darrell Krum.
