Ein musikalisches Hochdruckgebiet zieht auf der neuen Platte von Kombinat 100 heran, und mit ihm herbstlich-goldene Klangfarben. Was die vierköpfige Combo aus Mecklenburg auf ihrer ersten Veröffentlichung seit langem präsentiert, ist einerseits typisch, andererseits neu. Beim unverkrampften Umgang mit Melodien und Instrumenten geht es nicht um Coolness, sondern um den hörbaren Spaß an der Sache. Dabei kommen Elemente aus den verschiedensten Regionen der Welt und ihrer Musik zum Tragen. Wie die gleichnamigen Pferde von Winnetou und Old Shatterhand, galoppiert das heitere „Iltschi & Hatatitla“ federnd-leicht durch eine Klangkulisse asiatischer Flötenklänge, zu denen sich exotisches Mandolinengeklimper gesellt. Die „Vier Vögel“ kommen sogar noch verspielter daher, um in einer ausgelassenen Jam Session melodiöse Beschwingtheit zu verbreiten. Ohne die versonnene Stimmung des Originals zu verlieren, setzt Kombinat-Mitglied Mollono.Bass in seinem Remix zu „Iltschi & Hatatitla“ schließlich einen minimalen Akzent auf dessen elektronische Rhythmuselemente.

A musical area of high pressure spreads out on the new record of Kombinat 100 and brings golden sound colours for autumn. The four-person combo from Mecklenburg presents both typical and new sounds on its first release since quite some time. Melodies and instruments are used for the pure sake of fun, which manifests in a very open-minded and relaxed approach. Quoting many different styles, the sound of Kombinat 100 re-combines the world’s music in a unique way. Inspired by the classic Western adventures of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, the galloping groove of „Iltschi & Hatatitla“ is as frisky as the same-named horses of the two of them. It leads through an Asian soundscape full of light flutes and exotic mandolin twanging. The “Vier Vögel”, the four birds, come around even more playful and gather for a lively, melodic jam session. Without losing the light-hearted atmosphere of the original, Kombinat 100 member Mollono.Bass puts in his remix a minimal emphasize on the electronic rhythm of “Iltschi & Hatatitla”.
