resurgam bedeutet ich werde wiederauferstehen- und ist das heiß ersehnte, sechste studioalbum von fink. die band besteht aus dem in england geborenen und in berlin lebenden singer/songwriter und bandgründer fin greenall und seinen langjährigen mitstreitern tim thornton (drums, gitarre) und guy whittaker (bass). das album erscheint mitte september 2017 bei r coup d / ninja tune. der titel -resurgam- entstammt einer lateinischen inschrift aus einer 900 jahre alten kirche in greenalls heimat cornwall. diese haltung pulsiert durch das ganze album, das vom wegweisenden produzenten flood (pj harvey, u2, foals, warpaint, the killers) in seinen assault & battery studios in nord-london aufgenommen wurde. die zehn neuen tracks wurden innerhalb von zwei monaten geschrieben einer luxuriösen zeitspanne im vergleich zu vorherigen fink-alben und bilden einen songzyklus, der zugleich selbstbewusst und umfassend ist. resurgam ist ein mutiges neues kapitel, aber auch unverkennbar fink: mit ganzem herzen, gefühlvoll, unbändig, aufregend. ein klares highlight!

dj teech and taurus impex limited are the pseudonyms chosen by marieu and lucretio for their unconventional output, and already signed by berceuse heroique and knick knacks yoda. -coup d etat- is a collection of 4 cutting edge tracks at the boundaries of techno and house music. -digital bacteria- and -cgl- are two dancefloor minimalistic busters with a quick pace, with shuffled percussion and heavy digital sub basses coded over a steel cyberpunk texture. -pitchblacky- and -the perennial- have a very slow tempo but are injected of stinging hi tech funk enclosing a jacky essence that pour out from its experimental superstructure.

coup d etatais a collaborative project from kane ikin and harvey sutherland. working from their respective fringes of electronic music and produced in moments of respite between extensive touring and recording commitments, the project offers a glimpse into the pair s mutual influences and inspirations part maurizio, part moroder. kane ikin, a meticulous producer of abstract forms and polyrhythms, weaves percussive static and drone amongst sutherlands considered syntheziser work, a leftfield turn from harvey s brighter moments. ikin also traverses new rhythmic territory and signals a departure from earlier ambient works. the inaugural release for new imprint cdt, the 12inch was mastered by matt colton at alchemy and features full sleeve artwork from traianos pakioufakis.
