ghetto funk presents slynk. evan chandler aka slynk had music on the mind from birth. naturally gifted with a musical ear he flirted with a range of classical instruments including piano, guitar and drum. it soon became apparent that his ear was best suited to his own style of ghetto funk inspired bootlegs and remixes.
slynks first artists ep for ghetto funk has already been getting support from some of the scenes biggest players and his track boomin even appeared on krafty kuts most recent promo mix. his work is highly sought after by djs around the world while his forward momentum knows no boundaries. expect big things from this rising star and this ep is no exception.

funky town it the aswer from cmc & silenta for all the people out there who only knew their mashup releases. the first single featured by mc penny out of benin (west africa) goes straight to the legs and was made for the dancfloor. with this unique lightnes and funky riffs its somthing for the summer festivals and club nights all over the world.
the killer remixes from nick thayer, slynk & zamali will get you straight to the dance floore. nick did an amazing ghettofunk anthem out of it, with a rolling bass line and catching up the the funky gitare licks. slynk whiped the track up with a brass hook to bring back the late 60s funk feeling combined with his unique disco style. the last remix on this 12 inch is a great afro beat remix by zamali, to bring back the heat in the rhythm of the night.
