long time minus artist jon gaiser is back with his fourth studio album on richie hawtin’s influential techno label, simply entitled ‘iii’. the first signals from the album are sent with march single ‘on the way.’ it is a funky track with wriggling synths executed in undeniable gaiser fashion. textured hi hats and loopy bass all work on sucking you into the colorful and trippy groove. add into the package a typical big remix from sci+tec boss and techno megastar dubfire and you have one of the most essential releases of 2017.

igor jadranin aka en-tropic signs his new ep – >between two extremes<, for the record label underground limited.this release clearly proves igors unmatched talent and maturity in music production. the lead theme of this ep >between two extremes< – a very deep and powerful theme, carefully broken by rhythm and still a gentle and emotional jazzy looped composition – is surely my personal favorite from this release.cooperation with marko vukovic is embodied in the track >back again< – a minimal deep house filled with rhythm, not the kind of rhythm produced by percussions and other drumming instruments but rather by a cut vocal and dirty synth, which breathe soul into this theme.
>zero loss circuit<, which has an expressed club spirit, is the ideal piece for building an atmosphere in a club. igors music definitively deserves a spot on every good djs list.

supported by richie hawtin, dubfire, format b, hosh, someone else, steve lawler, dj friction and many more.. aus dem umfeld von fortschritt 3000 gibt es wieder ein neues künstlergespann. mark vogler und molle aka mollono.bass von kombinat100 haben zusammen nächte lang im studio gesessen und an neuen tracks geschraubt. dabei entstanden, ist ihr neues live projekt rundfunk3000 was sie nun auf ihrem hauseigenem label acker records mit der >zirtow ep< präsentieren wollen. session ist das wort das sie lieben und so klingt auch ihr neues werk, eine mischung aus house, jazz, techno und allem was spaß macht. zum einsatz kommen instrumente wie hammond-orgel, percussion und saxophone synthies. die a site mit >loop durch raum und zeit< erinnert an vergangene tage und klingt doch sehr aktuell, ich sag nur jazz in the house .... die nummer macht spass, geht nach vorn und wird bestimmt ein highlight auf dem einen oder anderen dance floor in unserem universum. die b site mit dem track >mein bodo< spielt eher irgendwo im tiefsten asien, lässt einen schmunzeln und ist irgendwie funky.

detroit s new >soundshift< imprint makes a stunning debut with this intoxicating two-tracker. opening up is the soultek remix of billy dalessandro s smashing >don t sleep< release (which was found in the many sets of dan bell, ame, annie mac & pete tong last month) this mix is nothing short of brilliant and will certainly capture the hearts and sets of all those mathew jonson or loco dice fans out there. it has a subtlety that really creeps up on you and before you know it you re tapping your feet and zoning out listening to the intricacies of the music. truly minimal, there are loads of space within the track which is somewhat similar to the original but still a world apart, particularly in the fantastically eerie synth programming. in the forefront of the song is the shimmering and haunting vocal loop, >don t sleep< which has an almost hypnotic effect. (think richie hawtin in closer) the melody of the title is a delicate affair which sips cocktails in the company of some nicely chosen whirring and echoing noises. the build is effected so subtly it verges on melancholy but halfway through a rumbling bassline, appregiated melody and backbeat hi-hat pattern announce a funkier escalation!!
