die soul band the revelations aus brooklyn, new york, präsentiert mit -the cost of living- ihr neuestes album. die hauptstimme auf diesem album stammt von rell gaddis, der den part von tre williams übernommen hat. rell gehört schon von anfang an zu den songschreibern der band und tritt mit der band seit jahren auf. rell wurde 1997 bei jay zs roc-a-fella label unter vertrag genommen und schrieb seitdem songs und kollaborierte mit größen wie usher, jay z, kanye west, mary j.blige, u.v.a. als band arbeiteten the revelations mit wu-tang clan, lee -scratch- perry, otis clay, willie clayton, benny latimore oder swamp dogg zusammen. für fans von sharon jones, charles bradley, aloe blacc!
