ltd 100 copies - taking it back to the old school and manufactured in the space of 5 week, this handmade nugget of black crack beat the previous release and all it s issues. dr spaventi once again provides the expert mastering to some artisanal yorkshire electronics from northern powerhouse. the full range of frequencies have been lovingly captured and set for eternity into nice and solid, hand pressed plastic before being bound in gorgeously minimal white paper -inners-. adding individual nuance to each and every record, is a stylised image of the visionary york philanthropist, joseph rowntree. details of which tracks are which are lovingly incorporated into this image using a black ink to stand against mr rowntree s brilliance. the hand screened label, uses the latest in dual pizza/kitchen table printing technology™ with a tried and tested lounge floor drying system to ensure any moisture is gone before the vinyl is shipped, so that transport weight can be kept to a minimum and savings passed on to you.

savage grounds are cco and daniele cosmo, co-owner of lux rec. a techno related outfit to explore a darker, noisier and more menacing sound. the ep has been realised by using only three machines. a roland 808, a modular synthesizer and a roland space echo. every track has been recorded live with a minimum of post processing. come over the fence and dance with the savages.

zen oikawa gilt mit seinem projekt space mandala seit den 70er jahren in japan als wahrer kraut-kosmik-rock-pionier. er war musikdirektor für projekte in anime-studios, darunter kitty records und für das wichtigste japanische animationsstudio, studio ghibli und lieferte einen wichtigen beitrag für kurenai no butta (porco rosso) und omohide poro poro (only yesterday).

on this split ep, two-heads project minimum syndicat is back again with its own special brand of hard acid music, mixing authentic rave influences and modern industrialish techno to reach this state of dark euphoria who became its trademark. this time, their guest is the famous irish producer sunil sharpe, another figure not known to make any compromise... he delivers two severe cuts of techno and electro full of raw energy, with a sinister vibe reflecting the dirty clubs and warehouses where this music is supposed to be played.

from the passion for techno grown up during years,overdraw want to exagerate, proposing hard, dark and acid sounds, coming back to past without no forgetting present and future.

instant music - the trio were dissatisfied with their surrounding musical environment. inspired by the velvet underground, kraftwerk, and giorgio moroder, they set out to create their own brand of neue deutsche welle fusing dada, disco, and krautrock.

savage grounds return to lux rec for the third time, with their third record. atrocities comes after unpleasant music for unpleasant people, released in 2015, and over fences, 2014. it is, as much as the previous 2, the result of investigations in music, live, composed with a minimum amount of instruments. the duo, comprised of cco and daniele cosmo, worked with a roland 606, a roland 909 and a modular synthesiser. experimenting with fm modulation and loose sequences. the result is concrete noise, anger, ghostly voices, and above all, the sheer conscience of human failures. atrocities marks number 30 in the lux rec catalogue. it comes as a 12inch + 7inch package.

uk wave funk veteran dmx krew returns to abstract forms with his latest double album project. escape-mcp features 13 tracks of synth drenched electro and elastic techno grooves drawing inspiration from a 1983 computer game where the player is trapped inside a computer by a rogue processor. fortunately dmx krew isn t trapped inside a computer and is still with us making killer grooves. don t sleep!

19-track compilation of songs recorded across 1983, most of which have never been released on vinyl before! bocal 5 were a no wave art group composed of doc pilot (synths, vocals), zouka dzaza (bass), florian guillou (synths), mickey lepron (electronic drums, bass) and evy tinguette (lead vocals). the project was born in november 1980 in tours, france as the brain child of doc pilot. between 1981 to 1986 bocal 5 recorded one 7inch single and a cassette-only album before taking a year off in 1984 to launch x-ray pop. influenced by erik satie, brigitte bardot, suicide and young marble giants, they call their music-minimum naive new wave.

limited edition of 300 copies with unique artwork made by russian street artist (grisha), which were carefully adapted to sleeve design by mikhail myasoedov. the vinyl lp contains 4 selected tracks from the full 8-track album.
after 9 years of silence, here’s the 11th album from the unclassifiable brussels-based duo. with their usual tamping drums (just mention the two parts of “the decision to exist” or “same area”, led by a ferocious 808), a regular bass guitar hammering, some bare minimum poor voices, threatened violins, skinbound flute and oboe here and there, a distorted furious piano everywhere and finally some tiny cautious optimism (the extra-human guitar in “enough slaps”), the whole is carefully assembled in order to obtain an accurate picture of life on earth. “pain” and “pleasure” are different aspects of the same mental construction.
