seth troxler & the martinez brothers’ tuskegee music welcomes chicago legend k- alexi shelby for a new ep that features some essential solo cuts as well as two great collaborations with tony lovlesss. k-alexi is a genuine chicago great. he’s been at the core of the scene since the eighties and releasing his raw grooves on dj international, trax and transmat, as well as his own k klassik label. he has recently remixed for seth troxler’s other label, say it play it, but is now back serving up the sort of engaging originals that have made him such an enduring star.

here is the debut release from the new label losers with attitude, a four track compilation we have nothing left to lose-that demonstrates the range of sounds you can expect from us in coming releases. the label is the brain child of aleksey ageyev, a successful la based film and tv producer in who was born in moscow before moving to nyc at age of 16. he has teamed up with his old friend jason szostek of serotonin/schmer records to explore the electronic sounds that emanate from the dmz between house and techno. alexi delano needs no introduction as part of the swedish techno mafia that took over new york techno scene in the 90s delano has been pumping out tracks that have keep dancefloors moving world wide. delano brings his awesome sense of groove to the opening track a.l.n. mike bryant is a well known dj in the new york city underground since he came from the midwest in the mid 90s. he s the label head for intrinsic design. with his a new low moniker he sets out on a dark and soulful journey in sound. lwa labelhead and prototype 909 member jason bpmf szoste s starts side b with a sprawling chill soundscape sunrise on mars from his abide the glide series of digital releases. legendary russian electronic music pioneer anton kubikov is famous for his acid adventures in scsi 9, his label pro-tez records and randomart store in prague. here he has given us a moody acid groove named we have a bridge to close out the compilation.

two re-worked tracks from their previous collaboration in 2013 that needed to get released. in 2013 these two friends spent quite sometime in the studio together which cumulated in a three-track release on butanes own imprint alphahouse. during the progression and fine tuning of these three tracks two of them, at one point, got a different interpretation. here they are.

the path of hybrid is a specially constructed three-disc compilation that has been designed to chart the musical history of cari lekebusch’s h-productions label. containing almost fifty tracks, the album blends re-mastered tracks from the labels deep catalogue with specially commissioned re-edits and remixes of classic hybrid tracks and the pick of new music from the current h-productions roster. the album is presented across two continuous dj mixes, compared by alexi delano (past mix) and cari lekebusch (present mix) plus a third unmixed disc containing previously unreleased tracks and remixes from the h-productions vaults.

the legendary club u60311 in frankfurt has opened up a brand-new hotspot for minimal right in the heart of the city, going by the name of 311. paired with this, an affiliated label - dreielf recordings - has also been launched. the residents michael kohlbecker, one part of the saafi brothers, and frankfurts newcomer peter eilmes are releasing the fruits of their cooperation in their home studio, and putting an already-established scene hit onto vinyl with - tabasco. the original of the record impresses with its anthemic character, which may have been due to the fat bass-line and the striking trumpet. despite its monotony, a real jewel for every record case and just the stuff to get happiness dripping from the club ceiling. the remix by alexi delano, on the other hand, is somewhat deeper and more melodic at the same time, but still contains all the ingredients necessary for a proper shot of tabasco. sonic monogamy or fat kick basses make this remix unique. the dominant trumpet and the scraping percussion of the berliner andre crom make this remix an absolute guarantee of ecstasy. tabasco is hot and burns like hell!

here wehave the new killer release on adam beyer s mighty truesoul imprint. here he calls on one of his fellow swedes to deliver a truly awesome club bomb. alexi delano has been making superb music now for any years as a solo artist and with other talents such as jesper dahlback and cari lekebusch. here he goes it alone and what a track hes made! its a funky bassline driven groove that twists and turns with super cool edits and switch ups in the drums before midway introducing the seriously catchy main synth hook to complete the picture.!

dj support: chloe, james flavour, sven dohse.. !! what is control launches with a driving beat, followed by a dark vocalsample with a touch of malevolence, the pair shapes a distinct sound which should distinguish it from the mountain of minimal tracks out there. it s creepy, has an edge and there s enough vitality to keep hips moving on the floor with its funky bassline. >not my enemy< on the b-sides is a bit deeper and reduced. weird synth-lines and spooky vocal shreds are marking the break, before the track ignites with cascading snthesizer triplets. manic
