the wondrous odd appointment quartet (john swing, marieu, emg and lucretio) returns with 4 tracks of sleazy urban funk cut directly from outdated ferrous tape. a plastic torpedo crafted with household hardware engineering, shuffling mid-west cracks and british breaks with sinked bass and vitrolic disco balls.

appointment008 is an extract of the seminal rehearsals of the appointment live act recorded on ferromagnetic tape. each side lasts a dozen of minutes and endorses the appointment live act innovative potential. the appointment live act is not grounded on prearranged phrase or patterns: every performance is unique and unrepeatable. marieu samples vinyls ad-lib and adds noises and blips with a little korg monster, john swing controls the delays and writes relentless drums on a tr-909, lucretio arranges emergent structured on an analogue sequencer,emg plays out this structures from an insurgent vermona perfourmer and explores the sonic spectrum with a german grainy filter. distortion, saturation, improvisation, breaks, funk and techno: the appointment live act goes beyond minimalism to reach out the inner functions of the waveforms transmission.

madteo, vinalog (a.k.a. emg and john swing) and third side have remixed xenogears >multiverse<. xenogears is the name of the first studio project of marieu and lucretio, also known as the analogue cops. with this moniker they released a bunch of seminal techno cuts on the first chapters of their restoration imprint, back in 2007. now, the xenogears are back and a full album titled >lost artemis< will be released in spring 2014 featuring their distinctive fast minimalistic, detroit-inspired and machines-driven techno.>multiverse< is the single choosen to transmit the sound of their forthcoming album, which will also features collaborations with their >bratha< no mad ronin and the talented producer known as objekt.
