a: the flight: the deadly combination of rune and sydenham who brought you the classic >elephant< are at it again. >the flight< is a tech house delight. futuristic beats combined with old school snares and rhythms and a subtle hypnotic vocal will draw you in. the simple organ stabs glue everything together. a damn fine track that will surely cross genres. b: the >crossing< is a humping dubby deep techno monster. the bold bass line drives forward while the fanatic efx put you over the edge. the rhythms are constant are the results are deeply satisfying.

jerome sydenham and rune rk first met about 5 years ago, when jerome first played club rust in copenhagen. rune was the club resident, and the two immediately connected over the decks. even though their styles were very different, there was a mutual respect and understanding for the music. in november 2006 jerome and rune decided to go to the studio and see if these magnetic poles could be joined - and from nowhere magic happened. a new mutant of sounds and arrangements emerged. not really house, not really techno, but dirty and soulful at the same time. energetic, yet calm, these tracks are something new. they dont sound like rune rk, and they dont sound like jerome sydenham. so what do they sound like? have a listen
PAPPERLAPAPP

charted by gergor tresher further support by: tom stephan, jerome sydenham, noir, atle, djuma soundsystem,.. a: papperlapapp a hit for djs with balls!! as usual from rune rk, this sounds like nothing else. a very catchy melody mashed up with that classic 101 bassline, makes this a monster on the right system. watch out for the buildups, and let the break run through, because thats where this track really shines. btw papperlapapp is german slang for >nonsense<, so the title seems quite fitting :-) b: filter games (rune rk remix) sommerfugl is a butterfly in danish, and thats exactly what this track is.
FILTER GAMES
12 Inch
03.12.08
supported by: tom stephan, jerome sydenham, noir, atle, djuma soundsystem, patrick bateman.. we wanted to try something new. to let an outside artist provide the main track. the choice was pretty easy it could only be danish sensation jack rock. he has been killing the big stages all over northern europe with his technically demanding live-sets. a university background in sound theory and interactive sound design means that his productions of post-minimal techno are brimming with interlacing tones and harmonic elements.
