to infinity and beyond. ufo95, alias killian vaissade is a french artist and electronic music producer. in search of unknown sounds, ufo95 travels through different worlds and different eras. he finds his inspiration in the psychedelic rock from the 60s and 70s, and in the techno scene from the 90s or even the idm scene, such as aphex twin... he also draws from the jungle and experimental scenes to propel a hypnotic, alienating and decidedly unique sound. very early on, music was his calling. mainly because he lived with his family above his parents’s nightclub. killian learned to play several instruments, he will also tryout rock bands in high school. as he turned 18, he chose to move towards music through sound engineering. first contact: he was then abducted by electronic music and, selftaught, he launched other artistic projects. he started playing under other aliases, and first live performed with rgs collective. recently, he landed in the reunion island in order to set up a family start-up, which works to reclaim environmental waste. recently back in france, he confined himself out into the countryside during the spring of 2020 and fired up ufo95, an unidentified fabulous object of music. he also released his first lp >popularity is overrated< on mama told ya label, in a cosmic collaboration with anetha. ufo95 is a good guy. be like ufo95. explore. enjoy.the b-side starts with syndrome. its earth-shattering kick and hypnotic atmospheres drag the listening into a weird, occult journey. ideal for the late-night darkrooms, metaphorically and figuratively. takaaki itoh, the japanese techno sensation and founder of the acclaimed wols label, follows up with his own rendition of the track. the remix from this remarkable legend within the scene is both eerie and engaging from the get-go. its driven by a thumping kick, playful hi-hats, and modular bells – a combination that combines the whole release and makes it such an essential for djs who are daring enough to take their set toward unknown territory. the planet x label is the brainchild of the icelandic techno artist exos where the harder side of techno is explored.

limited 2018 repress ! before producing on roulé, dj falcon worked in a&r department at virgin. in 1999 he released his first ep (on roulé) and produced a remix of cassius’ “la mouche” which is an all-time classic now. one year later, he started working with thomas bangalter on a track called “together”. two years later, the second release “so much love to give” of the duo appeared, which also remained the last release of dj falcon for a very long time. after 10 years of releasing nothing, dj falcon finally made a comeback in 2012 with several remixes such as justice’ “new lands”, alex gopher’s “hello inc.” and alan braxe’s “time machine”. in 2013 he reunited with thomas bangalter to release the track “contact” on the daft punk album “random access memories” together with guy-manuel de homem-christo.

„umwelt’s 12inch “… city” from 1999 was one of the most impressive 12inches i had at that time and i played the shit out of it. it was dark and very emotional, it was abstract but also driving at the same time. this was 1999 though, before discogs and before facebook and all the other platforms people have now to do research on artists they like and follow their work. at that time it was the record shop – and that was it. nobody knew this guy though, and i didn’t get my hands on any of the following releases, so in my world there was no follow-up to this record ever and i thought it would remain a one-off gem in my record box. until by some coincident i recently discovered he was still around and had actually released numerous releases in the meantime. i was very excited and contacted him straight away and ended up booking him for krake festival in the same year. undoubtedly his set was one of the best of the whole festival! he took the roof off the place with his mix of raw electro, industrial and rave and everybody was talking about it afterwards, saying it was the highlight of the festival! talking to him i learnt, that most of the tracks he played were his own, mostly unreleased. he produces without computers, all his tracks are single takes, there is no editing, no mixing afterwards, he only has a stereo track recording which is what it is. he owns a cutting machine which he uses to cut dubplates from his tracks, which he then plays out during his sets. this whole information about this very unique artistic approach just killed it for me, and since working with him was so nice as well, i asked him for a demo for killekill and its labels and was hoping for tracks i could make a great 12&#8243,, of. i got 14 tracks and after weeks of trying to pick the best, i finally realized i held one of the best electro albums ever in my hand – banging beats and the balls to go big and epic, subtle melodies, drama, funk – this album has got it all, and what’s most important, the music on it is the exact opposite of so much other music nowadays: it is emotional, it tells a story, it is easily recognizable and it is not interchangeable. it’s just umwelt.“ nico deuster

those who preordered, do not have to do so again, we will contact you when we have stock! the music fell into the lap of wt records and it seemed only natural to release this 2 part big room art piece. moon temple is gabriel andruzzi. you may know him as the bass player/sax guy/engineer of a well known defunct nyc band. this well polished piece contains 9 tracks of delicate interludes, big room acid stompers, and weirdo spastic mechanical marches. there is no way to know if this release will end up in a big room, a sweaty basement, or a museum. not only does it sound good but there is a visual aspect too. both 12inchs (pressed on 45) are packaged in beautiful silver foil op art by moscows art crime.

romansoff is the man behind raw tools, a guy who loves to dj and arrange parties in and around bucharest, he is starting to stretch his wings further afield. with a release on machine records inc being his first for another label, romansoff delivered 3 tracks of dancefloor goodness to the ruff draft inbox that made me jiggle in my chair. it was when i got up and started to dance like my dad, and my son started to laugh and point, that i knew it was a winner. i contacted romansoff who suggested we should have a game of stone, paper, scissors to decide the track order

bastian heerhorst and patrick meissner from hamburg, first met each other in the end of the 90s by their common love for graffiti. inspired by the hamburg night live, they decided very soon to work creatively together, also for their music productions. because of bastians long time experience in electronic music and the revolutionary development of the virtual instruments, the two guys were fast able to obtain quite dancable results, also with a small budget. begun with the rather modest possibilities of a 4-tracker on the amiga and the first live-acts with a groovebox, bastians liking to produce and to experiment with all possible styles grew. since also patrick came in contact with electronic music in hamburg s scene already early, it was somehow predetermined that in the future not only walls, but also dancefloors gonna be rocked. the project >heerhorst & meissner< was born and with kompass musik a label was found, which was courageous enough to publish the first tracks of duo…
