the new record is a huge step forward for dynooo, turning the strewn about 25-to-75-second bits and pieces of grooved out electronics on sim city into full-fledged jams. tip! the new record is way more dance-oriented, showing off his affinity for bangers on pounding opener tropical thighs. dude gets a bit darker on northwest noir before diving into raver territory with huge apple. fellow belgian cupp cave makes an appearance this time around, jacking up the perspiration with his remix of espirit sweat. 250 copies limited

i just woke and its pretty cold outside. i havent opened the window yet, but i somehow know it and im listening to these six tracks again and try to make an approximation of why and how i have done this ep. they are pretty different from each other but tell the same story or at least are part of the same one as a matter of fact. maybe they were done as an excuse for my overdue album which is scheduled again for this year or maybe just because i was going through some odd times and needed to immerse myself in doing something. in this case music. more the latter i guess. ok so, the opening track is in a way the end of an era and the last one the opening of a fresher one. and the rest fills in the gaps in between those two moments i guess. i hate conceptual things anyways. i never know or want to know why i do certain things. concepts define something before it already begins its existence and trying to explain why is pretty useless. so here it is. the recording of a certain period of time in my tiny existence. with collaborations with jaw (dop), my brother atilla, who is also responsible for the artwork, and jonny cruz. by the time its out itll be a distant memory for me but hope it lasts a bit longer for anyone that listens to it

after releasing a full length ambient album by mario hammer and the lonely robot in november, we now reales a vinyl 12- with two remixes and one original from the album. the ep kicks of with a rare remix of german producer duo extrawelt who have created a somewhat unusual hybrid of 2 of the album tracks. their remix connects mario hammer�s ambient music with their beat formula in a brilliant way. extrawelt s remix of -mono no aware / l esprit de l escalier- shows signs of a voyage since it starts off very quiet with sounds from mario hammer s original and then weaves in the accelerating techno beats and later electro beats they are so famous for.

with their cinematic music and john carpenters cover albums, we wondered when a real soundtrack by zombie zombie is going to be out? well, here it is now , the two zombies cosmic neman and etienne jaumet finally sign their first film music for the first feature film from director , narimane mari, loubia hamra (bloody beans), to be released in spring 2014. and we found them there, where we do not expect, because it s not a horror movie, but a free movie, a journey of a group of children from a district of algiers during the war of algeria, who becomes aware of life and death.director narimane mari talks about her experience with zombie zombie and creation of the soundtrack for her movie:-i really wanted the music to be as blood flow of images and that is what it is. sharp, dull, full of strange noises, inner or surging, harmonious or disturbed by noise disorder, which allows to read beyond the visual narrative. we are in the bowels of childhood and it shakes us up when we let our-selves be takeover by the living: the profusion. i didn�t want to make a movie where psychology and reason rule and dominate until our senses are weakened, but a movie that we experience with the body and it is them who made it possible, this total immersion.
