cgi is proud to present the long overdue 12inch debut from atlanta’s own divine interface. having spent nearly every weekend of the past many years dj’ing in clubs around atlanta, divine interace (real name drew briggs) is an expert at weaving a narrative into the frenzy of dancefloor. for his original productions it is no different as briggs uses his own voice over the tracks to recount seedy tales of late nights, teeth clenched, lit under street lamps, missed calls, decadence and debauchery. this is a 4-tracker of unmatched proportions, simultaneously adventurous and deep while never missing a beat

having honed his sound on a string of feted self-released cassettes released on his own harsh riddims label - which has also put out everything from bizarro hip hop to gleaming synth pop - and dropped a hyped 12” released on the cgi imprint, the healthcare ep finds fit of body delivering his most accomplished work to date. five woozy original tracks jammed out on second hand drum machines, bass guitar, cheap mics and creaking synths, this is techno as it was first imagined, raw machine soul made for strange times and unknown futures.

this will mark the first time all of these tracks will be available on vinyl. further, the album will feature unreleased tracks from cringe machine as well as a twins remix of love letters contribution nag. an interview of harsh riddims ryan parks by 2mrs mike simonetti (and vice versa) make up the liner notes and the labels will be throwing parties in nyc and atlanta to celebrate the release.
