almost one year in the making, bulgaria s outstanding techno talent lands his return to drumcode with a four-track ep. timmo (aka valeri ivanov) doesn t do things in half measures. since the release of his excellent system ep last year and muzik , his inclusion on a-sides vol.6, he s committed himself to crafting, refining and polishing a quartet of cuts inspired by the cosmic realms beyond planet earth. titled meteorite, its release marks 10 years since he first began producing and stakes its claim as a resounding career highlight with tracks already highlighting gigs for adam beyer at tobacco dock, awakenings, future kappa festival and junction 2. beginning with the title track, the streamlined work throbs with a searing synthetic pulse. black moon sees the ep land its first blow, kicking with a mixture of undulating synths and understated hoovers. spacetime stays true to its name delivering intergalactic techno vibes. cosmos concludes the work, taking us into extra-terrestrial dancefloor territory, with a barrage of trippy synth work and a melodic underbelly the makes the track both beautiful and heavy-hitting in equal measure.

drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is enrico sangiuliano. now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

brothers harvey and ryan mckay return to drumcode with their dynamic alias project. we were introduced to alias last year when the mckay brothers dropped the impact-heavy visions ep mid-way through 2017. the duo followed with a lauded contribution for drumcode live and the buzz from fans was palpable. the follow up sees the pair in powerhouse form. the title track nrg is an attitude-packed tour de force compromised of aggressive snares, warped vocals and a tension-filled break, it has been smashed by adam beyer for the last six months. orange sunshine pulls no punches as it dishes out apocalyptic acid paired with the siblings startling drum work. the event rounds out the ep and is an exhilarating affair propelled by uplifting synth lines and a buzzing energetic bassline.

for almost a decade, spains ramiro lopez has established himself as one his countrys leading proponents of techno, with strong releases across labels that include suara, intec, octopus recordings and bedrock. he first debuted on drumcode in 2015 with the rousing collaborative track clap your hands that ranked among one of the labels standout tracks for the year. with one drumcode release already under his belt in 2017 and a new label project odd recordings with fellow dc cohort arjun vagale recently launched, hes enjoying another strong year. his return to the label comes in the form of being alone , a powerful trio of cuts, all of which featured in adam beyers awakenings festival day 1 performance. the title track is a multi-layered weapon, propelled by a dizzying vocal, swirling synth effects and pin-sharp percussion that build toward a smooth classy finish. dark science is an effective stomper brought to life by a bell chime hookline and undulating synth melody ensuring its peak-time prowess. der raum rounds out the ep, highlighted by lopez s deft drum work, proceeded by a driving, euphoric climax.

can you believe that in former yugoslavia existed some people who were making edits and remixes without using midi or pc? can you believe these same people were making their original synth pop stuff under the influence of yellow magic orchestra and logic system? yes, it is true. these were zoran jevtic and zoran vracevic, the pioneers of electronic music in former yugoslavia. with groups sizike and the master scratch band they brought minimal electronic and breakbeat to their former country. however, with their original band from 1981 called data they created the most thrilling electronic. you can find their finest works in data-could you find your analog mind? issued by belgrade s discom. it is lp compilation with 12 previously unreleased by group data made between 1981 and 1984. it contains the first ever remixes made in former yugoslavia and obscure synth pop made under the influence of japanese scene ! transparent blue vinyl, 80 s cover design, list of equipment ... analog addicts and crate diggers don t miss this beauty!

we are happy to welcome maceo plex to drumcode with the fourth instalment of his conjure series, conjure infinity . featuring two tracks conjure dreams and conjure floyd , both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. conjure dreams utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. conjure floyd builds into a more heads down techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

2014 has been a slow year for sequencias in terms of releases. most of our energy has been spent towards the development of different projects, like our new webstore, that has become an outlet for us to share some of the records that influence the way we do things. so, with the wax offering slowing to a mere trickle, who better to entrust with our sole release for the rest of the calendar year? dcantu, of course. cantus electro-heavy sound is fleshed out here and while still lean enough for dance floors, it makes bolder moves into atmospheric and melodic territory.

killer release on new yorks sequencias label. powerful and hypnotic chicago acid inspired cut on the a and a cool slow building chord driven track layered over raw drum rhythms on the b-side. recommended!! label promo text: sequencias does not stop, does not conform, takes no prisoners. our third release brings you a pair of artists from two different points along interstate 94, who have a reputation for the very same. so lets get to it. the main body laid down by villan x is tight metallic percussion underpinned by solid kicks and a stream of robotic filtered bass, containing unexpected shifts within the frequency register. foreboding tones and feelings drift towards us across which the disembodied voice of kold is able to find a platform from which to shudder into our consciousness and pose questions from across the galaxies about the nature of our very being. dcantu carries on the feelings of space, with protracted white noise shots and stabby modulated organ chords, but doesnt leave it long before setting the pace with solid drums and shifting keyboard funk aimed squarely your body and the dance floor as octave changes force you up and then down again to a backdrop thick with texture. this provides for the body and the mind. act fast though, sequencias does not like to rest.

diner city sound continues the super edits vibe where they left off, with a four-track release from mannmademusic! excellently crafted, all four tracks have a warm and deep feel. so much love is a particular fav! this will revive any dancefloor!

its not every day that we receive demos from new artists that totally rock our world, but when its happens its a joy and a reminder of why we are still doing this. and so tears of joy rolled onto the speakers when we played policys demos. when contacted policy he told us he is from nyc, is a part time movie director and only started making music recently. out of the bunch of tracks we received >specialty party< and >light over fort lee< form his debut ep. both tracks challenge the beat spectrum once again and definitely speak his cinematic mind. expect more music from policy on rush hour later this year. he surely is our contender for best newcomer of 2011.

first release from the portuguese vinyl only label, dreams come true. born from the childhood dream of his mentor ostinato, dct aim to reflect his passion for vinyl records and electronic music. for this first release, nothing better than bring together friendship, passion and talent. in the last couple of years floog and ostinato became close friends and crafted this release togheter. the original tracks from floog reflect all his versatility fusing minimal with some spicy and tasty vocals, following a different path of the classic rominimal sound. the remixes are the reflection of the label owners personal taste. antraum (traumer and anton) did a huge remix with an infectious groove, a huge bassline, and certain sound complexity that makes you dance from the first to the last beat. ted amber its for sure one of the bastions of the classical rominimal sound. this remix shows all his talent to build unique vibes in each release he does. dreams come true is now unleashed, and we ll keep sharing them with you.
