for the first time in more than a year, because music is running a limited repress of selah sue‘s sold out ep alone. released in late 2014, it paved the way for her second album reason (more than 185.000 copies worldwide since its release in march 2015). shifting to a more pop-oriented sound under the supervision of producers robin hannibal (rhye, kendrick lamar) and ludwig goransson (childish gambino, haim), this ep features her flagship collaboration with american rapper childish gambino together and an exclusive acoustic version of the track wont go for more. a throwback to the exciting times when everybody was impatient to hear selahs new creations after her best-selling debut album.

wenn es um erfolg geht, scheinen dem mann keine grenzen gesetzt: calvin harris, vom forbes-magazin jüngst zum bestbezahlten britischen musiker und dj nummer eins weltweit gekürt, schwimmt derzeit auf einer unglaublichen erfolgswelle: mit seiner jüngsten single *summer* gelang ihm nicht nur der sechste nummer-eins-hit in großbritannien, auch in deutschland erreichte er einen neuen karriere-peak. der song erreichte in den media control charts platz drei (bisherige bestmarke: platz 13) und den deutschen airplay-chart sensationell platz neun (!).
nachdem harris auf *summer* eindrucksvoll gezeigt hatte, dass er auch selbst als sänger seiner songs extrem erfolgreich sein kann, verpflichtete der 30-jährige mit shootingstar john newman (love me again) eine der beeindruckendsten stimmen im internationalen pop-business. mit *blame* küpfte harris nahtlos an diese erfolge an: in großbritannien schoss die single von null auf eins, in deutschland rangierte der song bereits nach zwei wochen in den top 5 der media control charts. beide singles finden sich auf dem vierten calvin harris-album *motion*.

incl 2 bit crew, lgg, volta cab and rosenhaft. 2 bit crews just cant seem. taking a sound heavily influenced by the underground house music / garage sound of the 90s, this is a bumping groove with a driving bassline and hatswith a simple female vocal sample that will stick in your brain. the second track takes things deeper with bastien carrara aka lgg with let me, smooth rhodes chords with a love sensation sample underpinned by raw beats and sub-bass. on the second side things get a little tougher. the third track is from a producer who has had many releases already on labels such as balance alliance, seven music and undertones, konstantyn isaev, better known as volta cab. his track what is underground focuses primarily on a killer bassline, retro synth stabs and a cheeky hip-hop sample used to great effect. finally is haim rosenhaft, a young producer from israel with 1992, his homage consists of an old school organ sound with heavy kicks and snares influenced by the sound of labels like umm and cleveland city in the 90s. again this will be a vinyl only release
