do this man ever sleep??!! after his incredible baby raw e.p. alongside sometime partner in crime coyu - which has been played and charted by so many of the most discerning, and well known djs this summer - the talented spaniard is back, with his second ep on diynamic. funky basslines, cool house-grooves and a touch of deepness throughout. we love it!!
throughout the life of bbe very few djs have left a long last impression on our ethos - real music for real people. vincent williams is one of a few active djs today whose versatility and all round knowledge covers so much ground.
needwant is the new label from sean brosnan, who kicks off the label with the signing of fromages vicious. a record with one foot in the past and one in the future, reminiscent of eighties balerica with a vocal fit for a new york house dance floor.
brendon moeller is back on mule! after the successful ep faith on mule musiq (steve bug licensed to his mix cd on fabric), he returned with three deep stuff. title track juice is dubby and spacy deep house.this track is already big favorite of steve bug. gonubie is a spacy afro tech-house which reflected his african roots. disco devil is a new style of brendon.it reminds early stuff of theo parrish.
no. 3 in the renowned series >dark stars< on noir music gives you an even deeper insight into >noirs< weird head and critically acclaimed dj sets as we unleash some of the exclusive and previously unreleased noir edits. but dark stars volume 3 is much more than that. in short. dark stars volume 3 is about the quality of house music. all tracks included have been big tracks for noir in the clubs and we guarantee they ve been tried in tested around the world before they made it to this compilation. we hope you enjoy the collection of quality music as much as we do

released in 1980 this italo gem has more recently become a huge collectors item worldwide due to its incredibly hard to find status (ú100 ebay / discogs). this album was the prototype for the whole italo sound, with the majority of it written in 1979, but was only a minor hit in its time and not much is now known about the band. the album spawned two singles gipsy and back to heaven but is full of off kilter disco classics such as mister luck and down to the disco. dusted down and remastered this album has really stood the test of time and given a fresh lease of life its bound to find a whole host of new fans worldwide.

tsuba is proud to welcome federico molinari for his debut tsuba release with the infectious house groove of ‘party faktor’. this a total dancefloor bomb with clever vocal hook & sax stabs underpinned with a killer bassline. on the flip robert dietz provides a deeper disco tinged remix with cowbells galore to complete a stunningly good 12 inch! federico really needs no introduction, with his oslo and vinyl only loveletters from oslo labels making series waves in 2008 and 2009. ‘party faktor’ sums up all thats great about club music in 2009.
scott ferguson with some lush detroit house tracks which could easily be compared to moodyman and theo parrish cuts. dirty grooving with hypnotic jazzy samples. originally released in 2003 and finally a small repress. scott ferguson in top shape! check

nice price deal !!! limited white label 4 track ep featuring some dope remixes from ruckus roboticus that never appeared on vinyl. until now. his dancefloor friendly remixes of bloc partys >hunting for witches<, pase rocks >so f*cking disco<, kanye wests >love lockdown< and lmfaos >i m in miami bitch<. the bloc party mix is perfect for the electro heads (think dfa or gomma), while his kanye remix might be the best house remix of that track done yet and his pase rock remix is a fidget house anthem in the making. get this!
when the two colossi of the bearfunk label get together you can be sure that creative sparks will fire and the disco grooves will ooze. and so we present stevie koteys and max essas new project, the cunningly titled soiree. as a taster for the upcoming treats we are pleased to release a four track ep covering the musical bases that the london and tokyo based pair intend to cover. the theme from soiree announces arrival in a big way. disco grooves meets herbie hancock with lee ritenour tints. real drums from dave barbarossa, jazzer keys and some nifty fretwork from max. overgroomed slows things down to slo-mo speed and mixes japan/mick karn-esque fretless bass and layers of percussions and beats
disco devil number 8 sees the return of the man from vienna, mikeburns, sporting 2 more twisted disco edits of the very special kind. galaktattakk on the a side, as the title already suggests is an explosive funky space disco monster, laden with heavy bass, far out synth sounds and an ethereal choir that literally besieges any dance floor. the cheerful and more esoteric theme of the b side track, earth blues disco meditation, makes it feel like the long awaited return home to this blue planet of ours, after an extensive cosmic journey.

3 track taster to the retrospective of balihu compilation which will be released fall 2009. all tracks are previously unreleased tracks, including on the moon which was featured on the obscure bal 002 white label. the other two tracks were picked up from daniels private vault and are exclusive to this 12inch. glitter your tip! a very tasty release for the disco and house fans alike.
a killer clubby groove from steve marshall û the kind that reminds us of the best indie singles from the late 70s disco years! steve plays alto sax here over a strutting, high stepping rhythm thats got plenty of warm touches û really glowing with a sense of soul thats great, and touched by some female chorus vocals that are very much in a philly mode! the disco mix is great û even more upbeat and extended than the 45 groove. in the country is a great bit of club jazz û smooth and sweet, but still with a snakey flute line in the middle û almost like some lost bobbi humphrey track from her epic years. do what you will is another chorus vocal number û and you are the world features some laidback mellow flute.
jazzmin deliver the goods yet again with this killer jazz dance 4-tracker from m swift! it opens with disco, a wicked energetic disco jazz nugget, that wouldn t seem out of place at the end of one of mr scruff or gilles peterson s dj sets! ôpanamaö is more laid back, sounding like soil & pimp when they re not bouncing off the walls! over on the flip there s two killer remixes , 4hero s marc mac underpins the live instrumentation on caf? bahia with a tight jazz break. moon at noon remixed by french beatmaker fulgeance delivers a rough wonky jazz hop vibe, keeping the jazzness of the original and adding a heavy banging beat. m-swift presents 24 carat æs forthcoming album will be released soon on jazzmin records:
