after cooperating with other dj s, metacid decided to go back to basics. this 6th release is a true acid experience !! on the a-side expansion just keeps on banging your head with the two 8-steps 303 basslines !!! the clap cuts right trough and the wicked synth turns your head around. this will certainly keep the dancefloor moving. there would be no metacid release without a track fully packed with acid. this track on the b-side alters different beautiful basslines and has a deeper and more progressive feel to it. saur is the last but certainly not the least track on this release. with the acoustic percussion and the strings this track tells a nice story and is perfect for the beginning of the evening.

a-side brings a 45rpm mentalcore speed hardtechno, very progressive with some good bloody breaks, and bass changes! twirling stuff absed on a david green sample... playable at 33rpm.. b-side brings one 33rpm dub techno breakbeat track, very efficient, with a long dub intro, opening on a massive kick where it was expected. a real tune travelling into style and remaining dancefloor, this tune is a postal collaboration between lityk and vulpine smile from usa. one side 33 rpm boostables and one side 45 rpm playable 33rpm... a superb record we are very proud to co-produce with lityk.

sam walton is a 22 year old producer from manchester who came to hyperdub after feeding them demo tracks, and started off in 2011 with the *walton ep*, the first of three eps for the label. since then he has honed and developed his music into *beyond*, finding a really fresh and subtle intersection between music that doesnt seem to naturally fit together, old eski grime, funky and detroit house and techno but with smudged edges and a colourful industrial sound palette that gives a real richness to his productions.

the main theme called jesus makes you stomp your feet to its funky beat and phat acid bassline that mutates during the track keeping things deep without getting too religious. futureboogie man christophe does some good work on the remix adding some extra syrup: even more bass plus preachers speech in the middle of the track.
the b-side goes even deeper with blackstreet sampling number u ve got your pr0blems. starting off with the smooth disco beat, little guitar and that catchy male vocal the track changes halfway with addition of funky acid squelches and 4x4 house beat that makes you realize you really, really want to stay at the dancefloor.
