you probably best know lopazz for the quality, avant-garde club music like >i need ya< & >share my rhythm< hes produced for labels like get physical, cocoon rec. and londons legendary output recordings. lopazz is now back with a fantastic collaboration of the 80s sensation imagination enabled & co-produced by mexican artist beto >betoko< cohen.lopazz & beto met each other for the first time at azurara festival portugal in 2009, beto asked lopazz the same night, on the way to the festival if he wanted to work on the original imagination files with him, as his cousin eliot cohen, one of the worlds leading musicpublishers owns the rights on many international hitrecords. they started working on the files recorded on a huge analog ssl-console and the original 24-track tapes from 1982 at cohens red bus studios in london and it was pure magic! their first track, a remix of imaginations >new dimension< is the a-side on the gpm131. its been the first collaboration of the two producers and its a killertrack requested by many labels. lopazz is currently working on new film-scores for international tv and the next dj t. album. beto cohen is working on his next album and the follow-up with lopazz & imagination.s physical commissioned a subsequent remix 12 inch, featuring epic, forward-thinking versions from now firmly established chilean superstars luciano and ricardo vilallobos

the longawaited counterpart to the world famous: eve by day !! big with: anja schneider, adam beyer, joris voorn, steve bug, joel mull, dominik eulberg, james holden, laurent garnier, solomun, ripperton after admired releases on poker flat and of course connaisseur, things were a bit quiet around patrick chardronnet. these days are over now! patrick returns with a big bang offering this wonderful double a-side on connaisseur recordings and opens a new chapter of his delightfully, trippy & emotional adventures. enchanting, mesmeric and deeply touching, these two up-building tracks are reinforcing chardronnets hypnotic side once again. boggler is a simple and reduced spacer that features wonderfully processed drums and an endless arpeggio hypnosis. the track works highly effective only with a few elements until the beat comes back after a massive break. underlined with a strong sub-bassline, the whole track starts to fly away and is taking the whole dancing crowd with on its journey. eve by night � a counterpart to >eve by day<, patricks biggest hit so far, starts rather smoothly and upbuilding. then the track turns to a skipping, complex and meandering monster, which is jacked-up with some dirty hats and a playful synth theme. the theme deconstructs more and more and a logarithm assembles the parts of the theme to a new and unexpected melody experience. sophisticated !
