australian producer philip mcgarva aka microworld is well known for his releases on transmat and styrax, both of which instantly became sought-after techno classics. dutch label adepth audio is proud to present microworlds new >time before techno< ep, with the title track another classic in the making.
microworlds signature is clearly evident throughout - the slow smooth build-up, with every new sound revealing extra dimensions within the music. definitely an after hours track that will go straight to your soul. the second track >ism< is a minimal but effective rhythm, a driving bassline, a catchy synthesizer and vocal sample that will stick in your head. canadian producer arthur oskan chose to remix >ism< and rebuild it into a pulsating 9 minute club track overflowing with warm synthesizers.

for remote areas 28th release we welcome back production duo makcim & managemend. moscow born makcim has been djing since 1999 and is known for producing and playing deep, rhythmic, sexy, music. his music partner in crime - managemend (aka roel van otterdijk) is always on the hunt for brilliant loops of chunky, deep, soulful, minimalistic sounds but firmly believes that humans -not computers- give music the magic touch. they are back again with two quality tunes for the dancefloor. fur cage presents the deeper, funkier side of techhouse life with its rich, dark chocolate vocal snippets melted across a belching bass. fraggle stick car û high hats peak on top of warm percussive expressions to create a rolling dance rhythm packed with warped sounds and distorted snippets

italians do it better owner/traveling dj salesman/heavy record collector mike simonetti takes an edit to three very obscure 90s house tracks. we were able to recognize the a-side with some help. the track was altered significantly and intro extends and builds and builds and builds... the two tracks on the b-side sound like 90s japanese piano house and a happy house rave track flipped on 33 but to be honest, we have no idea what they are.

nice price deal !!! idiot is already something of a hit with those whove heard it being played out, combining hard soca drums with lush ecstatic melodic synth harmonies and a driving bass with a strange 8-bit melody that stumbles and trips around the rhythm. its completely alien at first, but potent enough to stick in your ears until you might catch yourself humming the refrain when you least expect it. a unique and fantastic combination of compelling contemporary sounds! altered natives, aka north london producer danny native, whose track >rass out< was one of 2009s best, takes over the b-side with a remix that seems to reflect 20 years of british house music back on itself. just using the bleeps from the original tune, he echoes and morphs his own melody over stepping dubby kicks and snares and a dark, driving bassline

everyone being into house music should know paolo mojo by now.not only has he released and had success with some of the worlds biggest dance labels but he is also the man behind oosh records.
on this lovely piece of music mr. mojo gets deep down and funky to bring a more laidback vibe than he usually offers. the vocal hookline delievered by the lovely ryan starr will stick on your mind after only 1 listen and the tight beats and deep chords will make you wanna play it during your warm up session or just before heading into the more big room sounding stuff.

because of the keen idea to have at least 3 good releases within the first 10 records, it was clear that nobody else but phillip lauer would be able to sort this out on brontosaurus 10. so after #1 & #5 here is # 10 from the man. set your clock! its kinda metric. with 10 releases on his back the brontosaurus is no greenhorn anymore. we found out a few things: 1) we will never know if good music does not sell. >2) printing your own covers is an honourable thing to do but it is a lot of work! > 3) its still fun in the end so lets stick around for the next 10 releases and check this commanding 3 tracker.

we are pleased as punch to have this one on dissident. as you no doubt know one half of naum gabo is mr jonnie wilkes aka one half of optimo and unless i got totally the wrong end of the stick when i spoke to jonnie this is the first actual naum gabo release after a bunch of excellent remixes. its a low slung groove for all proper dancefloors with a rubbery bassline, an uber-classic arpeggio, a super-cool synth line and all manner of dubby spacey trippy business going on. i guess this one will fly out even quicker than usual so get them skates on people

as hard as it might be to believe, there was a time when the word trance did not mean dutch guys dressed in white wearing oakleys.. it also didn t mean israeli pre-military dragon-stick wielding reefer addicts.. actually, there was a glorious era where trance was a verb rather than a noun.. im talking about when you got in a trance, at lets say for example: the golden eagle in munich in 81, in a white-tiled sauna-motif discotec, grooving to a 17 minute reel-to reel version of knights in white satin on your 2nd bottle of poppers while some guy named >wolfie< takes his modern ballet skills to the >next level<. if that sounds appealing.. and i know it does.. then allow me to introduce you to compuphonic and kolombo.. a throwback to the days of romance-trance of the highest order. deep, sensual (yes, i used the word sensual) electronic grooves so potent that we were forced by a coalition of competitors labels to only release some of them digitally to restrict their awesome power to trip people out. these tracks make other tracks seem like mindless shallow shit. that includes some of turbos other releases.

wheres my dongle is a masterpiece of depth and tones. electronic rhythms keep the backbone of this track strong while the synths and pad cascade over top. minimal yet maximum impact, this track is a smooth drive along beachy coastlines, and a super-tool for moving waistlines. palms studio mastery brings every element perfectly in balance with the arrangement working well on both dancefloors and living rooms alike. its no wonder loco dice used this as the opening track on their newest >time warp< mix compilation....disc 1, track 1
