lilly among clouds kann pop-balladen am klavier schreiben: majestŠtisch gro§, aber immer ohne kitsch. und es kostet sie nicht einmal ernsthafte mŸhe. -green flash- ist gespickt mit pop-ohrwŸrmern und -balladen internationaler klasse, und wie schon bei -aerial perspective- (v… 2017) ist es diese tief ins hšrer-herz treffende stimme, dieses sonore alt mit filigranem vibrato, die wie eine rote mŠchtige sonne Ÿber lillys so eigener, ein bisschen schŸchterner melancholie schwebt. -surprise- fŸhrte die junge wŸrzburgerin ins deutsche finale des vorentscheids zum eurovision song contest, wo sie inmitten eines starterfeldes aus ehemaligen castingshow-kandidatinnen vielgelobte dritte wurde. wie auch schon bei ihrem debŸtalbum, hat lilly -green flash- zusammen mit udo rinklin (u.a. produzent des #1-albums -bleib unterwegs- von laith al-deen) produziert.

das elektro-duo soft error veršffentlicht sein debŸt mechanism via village green. mechanism beinhaltet elemente des 70er jahre krautrocks und der futuristischen klanglandschaften von komponisten wie cliff martinez, john carpenter und jon hopkins. die aufnahmen zum album entstanden im greenhouse studio von valgeir sigur_sson in reykjavik, island. der begriff soft error bezeichnet in der computersprache ein fehlerhaftes ereignis im speichersystem, welches die anweisungen eines programms oder datensatzes verŠndert. fŸr die band trifft diese bezeichnung genau die art, wie sie musik machen das unplanbare des zufalls trug ma§geblich zum charakter von mechanism bei.
