djulzs bass culture records revisits home soil with its forthcoming work ep, from young parisian techno gem, john jastszebski. bubbling under the radar whilst building support through residencies at paris social club and rex club, jastszebski received affirmation for his early productions from the likes of luciano, richie hawtin and agoria. flash forward to late 2012 and djulz has snapped up the talented producer for a four track ep, backed by a bonus remix from chicago born, detroit raised house don, delano smith. the work ep is all twilight silkiness, the skill behind the alluring, forward thinking construction instantly inviting you on the journey. from soothing piano riffs to tribal drum work and allusions to mother nature, the work of both jastszebski and smith on the remix maintains bass cultures tradition of technical clarity and creativity.
fire at work are the most popular in many productions idm and have assets (including collaborations with venetian snare, d arcangelo and somatic responses).detest, although very young, has a high musical maturity, and has already printed on many top labels hardcore-techno underground (deathchant, rebelscum, face off, strike, etc

whetting appetites for works-brendon moellers ninth studio album and his first full-length for speedy js compound techno stable-electric deluxe present the >wanderer ep<, with remixes from clrs tommy four seven and argentine vanguard jonas kopp.
brendon moellers long player homage to the spirit of techno works, electric deluxe taps two of the albums polar moments for remixes to deliver work ethics. selecting one of works toughest tracks for the a-side, adjust to the fading light, the ep opens with a rare vocal refix from berghain resident ben klock
on >work that shit party<, a fingers inc. style rhythm buttresses a two-note riff, a crackling male voice filtering in from the ether. a pinging keyboard zips around before that two-note flicker expands and contracts, warps and wheedles. but around halfway in, a female vocal refrain of >gonna work it out< breaks fat lacerations into pinholes, blaring keyboards seeping in through the gaps and crevices. then, as with >d117<, it is the congealing of all these disparate elements: a work it out from fischerspooners lizzy yoder sashaying with the two-note riff, the keyboards bouncing off the ceiling, and flaring hi-hats fraying the surface played by pat mahoney (lcd soundsystem). each portion is given its due, only to make the ensuing combination that much more enthralling.
2012 pressing !! >gonna make you work< gab es bereits auf 7inch, leider ist das stück für die kleine schallplatte dann doch deutlich zu lang und entsprechend mau klang die single. jetzt kommt der recut auf 12inch, und drei neue tracks gibt es auch noch gleich dazu. so muss es sein. die drei neuen cuts zeigen die oldschoolige chicago-liebe in noch mehr facetten. keine tricks, keine stunts, einfach die pure kraft der maschinen und der soul des menschen dahinter. killer, durch und durch!
turbo recordings presents a second pack of killer remixes of zzts >work<, the latest single off the tiga/zombie nation supergroups partys over earth lp. featuring the advent & spiriakos, norman nodge and gingy & bordello.
it fills us with a profound, seething rage to think that even a small segment of the turbo audience doesnt worship the advent. here he teams with spiriakos to convert any stragglers. meanwhile, real-life lawyer norman nodge uses the full force of his autogenic training to create a track that is both elegant and hypnotic. and hot off their much-loved >body acid< ep, gingy & bordello continue their climb up the clubhouse ladder by joining the zzt remix elite, showcasing another step in the evolution of their maturing sound.

2 tracks from ron trents dancefloor boogie delites cd. tell me is deep house groover with lots of spacey efx and the full rich voice of leroy burgess. would have been a staple back at the zanzibar. b/w work that body, a soulful house (mostly) instrumental for late nights.
dj deep is know as one of the key players in the french house and techno scene for many years now! recently he found some old recordings on dat tapes. going through these tapes he heard several tracks that somehow still sounded fresh!. after listening he got fascinated. he describes some of the cuts as raw and somehow naive tracksand as something naive, authentic and honest. so here we are... with a nice piece of wax that has 2 great tracks produced around 1994-1997, and 2 solid 2011 remixes. rootstrax comes with an excellent mix that is an emotional deep take that really captures the emotion of the original and brings it to a much more mature and deep territory. the marcelus mix gives us a much more radical, uncompromising techno interepretation. another stunner on deeply rooted house!!
