los updates, originally from chile and now residing in spain, are close collaborators with ricardo villalobos and have released an album on cadenza. they loved bruised inside so much they offered us themselves to do a remix. thanks again jorge y loreto!

l kubic is the berlin based producer lars niekisch. already in the 90s he was playing keyboards and writing songs in various bands. he also did his first producingsteps working as a programmer and co-producer at a music studio. later he and his good friend alec trick founded their project trick & kubic. on his journeys around the globe, inspired by all the impressions, he collected lots of musical ideas. based on these fragments l kubics first solotracks were produced back home in the studio. his first solo project was signed to buzzinfly, berlin label blackfoxmusic followed straight away ...

starting off with the perfect combination between house and techno: >the yellow screen< twists and turns. make sure to listen all 6 minutes of it because the end is not as you would expect. a splendid remix from kaiserdisco brings a more minimal feel to the track but keep enough of the splendid original version to remain groovy.
the flipside track >sweet violence< has many great sounds, striking bass-lines and gives you that vintage warehouse-techno feeling.

alain ho aka dj yellow is one of the electronic music artists who established himself as one of the forward thinking artists in general. in the eighties dj yellow pushed forward french hip hop and he also had big influence on what french house music is today. with his label yellow productions (founded 1993 with his mate bob sinclar) he released artists like salome de bahia, dimitri from paris, joe clausell, bang bang and kid loco. with his second imprint poussez music (founded in 2003) he created an outlet for his own sounds.

after releasing very successful tracks like sentimente (desolat) or his kudos ep on takt records, he keeps up the pressure and is back with outstanding new releases in 2010 on yellow tail. phat remix byalex celler!
