debut release from brian ring. raised in cork on a diet of us-american house music and disco oscillating between sylvester and glenn underground, while sneaking into clubs underaged (see sir henrys for further reference) ring was baptised by by david mancuso and theo parrish in london (thank you easyjet) while his record collection grew and grew. living in berlin now, an epiphany in some remote parts of australia (it was 42 degrees!) resulted in him following his own path in making music. so, here we go: the movements ep brings together mike dunn (sample has been cleared, folks), timothy leary and tee scott puts disco roller skates on heavy legged deep house and is most of all as much fun as it is sincere. all in a certain way that is personally his.

back in stock on 25.02.2016 , arapu has maintained a steady flow of releases over the past few years and hes one of the usual suspects in the underground scene. his elegant mixture of housy elements on a techno backbone gained him early support from his peers. successful stints on labels like memoria, crazy jack, motif and mrr led him to confidently start his own outlet. liniar debuts with a three tracker from the man himself.
broken grooves are almost always present in arapus productions and pitfall is no different. with a trippy synth that goes all the way and effected voices to go along, this track rules the night and the whole a side.
two tracks found their way on the b side and their flavour is quite different. escape is a pure deep house gem, and a clear indication of arapus soulful influence. extremely danceable and super uplifting, this track brings the summer back. wasting on the other hand is dark and has a dirty broken tech groove. this track may seem toolish but it s a monster when it hits.

gdm (glaswegian dance music) pioneer - sparky (aka dave clark) is back on numbers. having spent the last year on lockdown in his luxurious garden studio we have finally managed to wrestle two tracks out of his ageing hands. signals is an all-new track, first heard on dave�s essential mix for bbc radio 1 (aired as part of jackmaster s made in glasgow), and now in the sets of ben ufo and jd twitch. signals is classic sparky, nailing that sweet spot between the proto-techno sounds of british synth pop and the dancefloor nous of the motor city. the flip is a snarling metal-bashing beast called tigress which comes direct from his archives. we ve been on at him to release this one for almost a decade and after playing a 192 mp3 at a pretty boisterous numbers x optimo party last summer, sparky finally relented. one day we ll convince sparky to let us release all the music sitting in his vaults but for now here are two gems from a man whose music has played a pivotal role in the history of numbers.
