we have decided to publish these tracks as our first release because they took inspiration from the two words label name: eleusína and recreations. thinking about that ancient mysteries and hoping they could survive till nowadays and in the future as a aid of our poor life helped us a lot in composing these tracks.
the two track ep was compost almost interely by machines with a little computer aid. cause we are only humans and conditioned by our fears and weaknesses, we have decided to make them almost mono tracks to maximize the transfer achievement to vinyl. have we took the wrong way? we do not know, but we keep some time to reflect about that and find the best balance between stereo and mono that fits our soul.

straight japanese killer techno !!! tight, mechanical and brutal with an underlying funk, snow monkeys is the sort of multi-faceted beast that kobayashi is known for. the rough edges are allowerd full space to create tension but the track is tempered with some brilliant, shimmering and evocative melodies that slide into the mix for just the right amount of time before subsiding into the churning groove. one of the new school of japanese techno producer, a.mochi delivers a well pitched, moody version on the flip. pacey yet measured in its progression its a version that takes the originals tension to new levels and wont be a surprise for anyone who has heard his productions / remixes for the likes of figure, cocoon and a-wave. hideo kobayashi is one of the few producers who can skip from deep or vocal house though to searing techno with ease and snow monkeys is a perfect example of what he can do when it comes ot the tougher sounds

following the stunning album that (finally) surfaced on tirk records last year, seventeen-piece live disco band escort arrive on sister label nang via red music by popular demand with two of the most prevalent cuts from the album, cameleon chameleon & starlight, remixed by anglo-japanese powerhouse max essa, and red records label boss and ilija rudman. ilijas cut of cameleon chameleon is as funky as they come, enveloping strains of the originalin his silken synth work and driving dance-floor percussion. edits of adeline micheles vocal hook are teased in throughout, beautifully done but never deriving from the fact that this is strict dancefloor stuff. next up, max essa delivers a stomping rendition of long time favourite, starlight. his cut stays true to the original, retaining vibe, funk and feeling, but giving it that subtle injection of house that is just made for peak time at the dance. if you like your disco live, the escort collective has a couple of uk dates penned in for march / april 2012, so keep em peeled!

if you have been following graeme clark in his solo disguise as the revenge or the stream of 6th borough project 12-inches leading up to this one, you should know what to expect heredeep, blissfully hypnotic sampledelia with track flows governed by the laws of extreme repetition. its a shame that trance means a particular subgenre of electronic music, because that term applies just as much to the effects of these tracks as anything tiësto has ever played.
given the space, clark and craig smith are able to utilize this formula over a broad musical spectrum, creating music in the full-fledged sense, one that traces a landscape of tempos, styles and emotions and a menagerie of resurrected sounds conjures up images of dusty record shops and tattered vinyl, musical spirits captured on wax. awesome!

nice price deal !!! the bristol reggae explosion is back with a third volume. whilst still happily exploring what was happening in the city during the 1980s, they have bent the rules and included a lone track from 1979. if anything, this third volume is their strongest so far, an amazing achievement when you consider that most of the tracks are previously unreleased.
