their album is not about breaking barriers, but it is their own little twisted version of what they call techno. for yotoko techno can be heard in everything, so as such it is all techno. domu and shifty are influenced by lots of different stuff, soul, jazz, disco, hip hop, techno, some old break beat, new broken stuff.. as well 20 pence mad charity shop finds.. the album is about yotoko making music they think is cool and realizing that all this music is the same no matter what the bpm or groove.

in a fresh, light and nippy way mr. russell drums us out of the indian summer into the oriental autumn. pipes of pan prance above this cool arab beat and take a rocking guitar line in between. and because germany becomes extremely cold these days, fenou #9 heats up more pressing than its predecessors and warms us on top with a vocal taken from the arabian nights that crackles in our ears. the flip side shows more deepness and blows over a warm breeze of spanish dance air on the guitar. vocals whisper longingly above the drums, engrossed in thought far away at the seaside. with this record autumnal coldness is long forgotten and expelled.

this ep contains the best cuts from the ifs6 industialization cd. 4 industrial hardcore slammers in true isr vein, with an international flavour feat. tymon (australia), sei2ure (nl), forsaken is dead (usa) and lian (italy). these tracks will be sure to find their way into loads of dj sets.

supported by jimpster, danny howells, andy cato, ben watt, roy davis, luke solomon, tiger stripes,.. pooled music returns with another solid release from label owner, and all round house debonair, ian pooley. more class productions here, with two versions of the unique sounding the dark white and holes in my shoes , a great track that nods heavily to those classic early house productions. proceedings kick off with the lo slung funk of the dark white (juno mix) , sounding like the love child of adonis and moodyman this seemingly simple groove will slowly bury its way into your head.

a1) aller retour. indeed we do like it very much, when a tune is like a punch – and this one pushes tremendous. underlaid with a sharp kick later, the strongly-held bass line involving from a small stream to an all-compelling stream. on top we receive a very un-christian boot with some oriental like organ-pipes. what more can you expect. oh by the way- there is actually a river in lower saxony with the same name like the track – however has nothing to do with it. b1) nevermind. indicate left and right over. and then a lob shot instead of a straight shot. this is a little what nevermind feels like. an assault from the deep, with a soft climax rather than with brute force. our recommendation for phasing out after an extensive club night

as the days get darker so shall the music, so on that note we welcome back the fold moscows own polymorphic with the ever turbulent rock on ep. this time out polymorphic delivers the goods with 3 new tracks, rock on, scream & move faster. the ep also features a remix of the title track by marseille who also had a hand it turning out proxys raven last year. this ep is not for the feight at heart. both mixes of rock on tear things up with a decidely old school electro undercurrent while keeping things noisy and agressive on the top end. and there s only one thing we can really say about the last two tracks because they are that scary... scream will make you move faster.

for the second cassius records and to carry on with the youth speed, trouble, cigarettes adventure we give you four remixes done by talented producers across europe from milano italy… reset! we met the three kids from reset! in magazinni generale while playing, their set was powerfull but also full of respect and influences from hip hop, soul and dance music in general, we finished our sets back to back and since this day love them their trouble mix could have been done by the jbs if they were still twenty something and into house music… it rocks and never stopsno use to present the music from radio slave, the big difference with a majority of other producers is that we both can recognise his tracks in a few bars only, also in the way it streches to crazy length and takes you in a trance that could have come directly from lagos in 1973 matt embrace the same philosophy we all cherish at cassius records the no boundarys way hes more than minimal, more than electro more than techno he stripped down ystc to the max and his remix played at the good time on a good system is a true chicagoan infused gem then after chaos

balearic biscuits remixes and edits from veter pisti (aka peter visti of visti & meyland and eskimo fame). the first is an 80s disco pop mover with fagget fairys thrown in for style. the flipside has a stripped down totally tubular reworking of foreign affair, which is a mike oldfield song, minus most of the lyrics. voice of buddha is in a synth heavy league of its own originally from... yup, the human league.
