doom’s 1999 classic debut album is now available on a series of deluxe 7 inches. each 7 inch is housed in a full color picture sleeve featuring brand new artwork by lord scotch, the original artist behind the operation: doomsday art. when laid side-by-side, the art fits together like puzzle pieces to form one large doom image.

techno, disco, italo, electronics, house, library, cosmic and ambient frequencies - these are the bedrocks of the midnight drive ethos and sound. a label shining a light on overlooked or unheralded creations and respectfully reissuing them for the contemporary audience. a label that respects and understands the connection between these disparate and sometimes forgotten forms of musical expression and celebrates them.

music from memory’s sister label second circle returns with their first release of 2018, this time with a 4 tracker ep from french producer and antinote via melody as truth affiliate d.k. aka dang khoa chau. titled mystery dub, this new record features two percussive house cuts on the a side with two more evocative compositions on the flip. recorded in his studio in the 11th district of paris, the release showcases a wide yet characteristic palette of sounds and textures the parisian artist has been sharpening over the years: atmospheric/hypnotic strings, warm pads, dreamy landscapes and spacial rhythms.
