for its second release houseum records link up with ricky razu, whose renowned talents have quickly garnered him a great deal of attention within the global house scene. the belgian reveals “cycles”, a debut solo ep built to warm the body as the winter season approaches thanks to the four tracks pulsing with luminous and captivating beats.

ricky force makes a quickfire return to repertoire after the success of make it right / suburban nights. -everything- is an apache-driven slow burner that moves through the gears into a euphoric breakdown. hands in the air vibes. -special- is a no-nonsense amen track, the kind that ricky does so well, built for the dance floor.

13th hour records presents its debut ep: a four track v/a celebrating both the pulse of the late-night dancefloor and the starry-eyed ride home. two tracks from subjoi forge the a-side, the vibrant yet moody “make me” taking the a1 slot and spacy, hi-hat bonanza “doin’ fine” at a2. and influenced by the bass-heavy vibrato of 70s funk, ricky razu kicks off the b-side with the infinitely groovable “reaching out,” followed by the sultry cut “moonlight jam” to close out the album.

in his restless quest for the funk, sex judas invites 6 funkateers from the norwegian underground + partner in crime, ricky to remix some golden oldies. the mixes on display are full of the vigilante attitude flowing thru the current northern scene, where dirt and funk still is the modus operandi. tracks are taken from the trilogy of ep s released on tim paris marketing label between 2011-2015 and serves as a warm up to the sex judas album coming this winter!
