die langjährige freundschaftliche zusammenarbeit von ware und lebensfreude zeigt erneut früchte. nach seinem remix für gunne und der teilnahme am deutsch-argentinischen - miti & halp projekt nun wieder eine vollständige ep von mathias schaffhäuser auf lebensfreude. wir sind entzückt! und nachdem das musik krause quartett von schleck&stecker schon für die letzte pentatones-ep einen remix beisteuerte, haben sich diesmal die labelmacher persönlich an die regler gesetzt. das krause duo gewohnt ungewohnt. so haben wir das gerne. und ezeqiuel esley, mit sweet n candy ebenfalls am - miti & halp projekt beteiligt und jüngst mit eigener ep auf lebensfreude, schlägt den bogen zurück nach argentinien. auch dies macht uns freude und macht aus utopien erfreuliche realitäten ...

isn t it astounding how musikkrause manages to change direction? on one hand you can find albums from feindrehstar and ian simmonds, as well as a number of diverse features. maximum is the catchword. who can bring bona fide, raw, full-service techno for a deep seated mind fuck? berk offset of whom the technoiden world out there is no stranger, has the answer at the ready with a 2x funky, dada techno for culture-drunks and solar plexus-beatniks. the flowing lyricist rainer maria silke is known as the techno-activist part of two duo s. together with the japanese tanaka hideyuki he celebrates an abundant frizzle-fest ornately, bound with alex kork under the handle error as cannibal cooking club to a freaky loud industrial-techno with an experimental edge. added to that he is a manager of the label 9volt-musik which blithely ignores the trends but instead serves a challenging techno sound. the raveline supported, 22nd release from their catalog stromberk recently bagged a record of the month! for musikkrause berk offset mimes the dead doris with a filthy straight-lined techno avant garde for a life in the dance floor heavens. he is the charming psychiatrist with the melting grin and the right medicine in his frock, who muses from time to time over the effectiveness of shock therapy.

we have never done a project like this before where the artists choose all the remixers themselves. but for the crazy italoboyz album >bla bla bla< we found ourselves not really knowing what to do. so instead of forcing our own ideas for remixers we went back to the source and let the artists run wild on the a&r. marco and fede commissioned all the remixers themselves. the producers they chose are a very diverse bunch and the vinyl 12inch takes a sampling of the best material from two very big underground names. on the a-side das kraus duo turn it a super jackin yet also very haunting rendition of >oh mio dio.< it sounds like pitched up chicago house meets demon days. on the b-side old school master dandy jack turns in one of the oddest records ever on mothership with some unusual sound design, voices and semi-dischordant note runs. super weird for the super weird! whatever you think of this odd lot no one can deny these remixes definitely carry the indistinguishable mark of that ever so quirky duo, the italoboyz
