ladies and gentlemen, dear audience, 2012 is the year of boxer. and it has already been 10 years since frank martiniq came up with >adriano<. for boxer, this was a fantastic kick-start into the international and national music world, and up to now, you can still enjoy its traces engraved on the asphalt. we would like to celebrate this little, yet significant event—on vinyl and of course with you! with streamers, confetti, and with four artists which are particularly dear to us: robag wruhme, von spar, lexy/shades of gray and le dust sucker. an alluring aperitif to start 2012.

again, a new discofil release. this time its a mini lp curated by venice-based dj and producer bottin whos showcasing some of his favourite proto-italo oddities, or if you will, an outing of some of his essential influences, dating back to bottins childhood years in italy. bottins earlier releases has been on quality labels such as eskimo, italians do it better, bear funk, nang and the obscure artifact bootlegs. adding discofil to his impressive catalogue, well the pleasure, the privilege is mine

first vinyl record for this new techno label. dark, hypnotic, a modern techno. the original track is signed by a new artist, but with clear ideas: darkcell aka adriano giliberti, he creates a journey of sounds that come from far away, rhythms that never stops, with devastating and anxious atmosphere. the remix of markus suckut (stroboscopic artefacts, figure spc, etc..) is in his style, sounds that go up very slowly, everything seems to come out from under the ground and a series of clap you wake up from hypnosis. in the remix of octave (nachtstrom schallplatten, etc..) sounds are more open and the rhythm is more definite, its hypnotic but his style always goes to the techno dancefloor. the first release: you already understand the high level of techno!

boris dlugosch e michi lange are back with 2010 remixes. first edition was on rise records ( cat. rise 090 ) with vocals by fiorello ( italian showman / singer ). this time, italian producers the cube guys (roberto intrallazzi & luca provera) , present new edition. azzurro original song is a 1968 italian pop song by adriano celentano.

after almost 2 years without publishing new material. the label properproud reappears with this ep limited to 250 copies. the owners of the label santi and roger (strange connection) have worked very hard to remind everyone with this record that the electro-techno and ebm will not die ever! this time, properproud back with more force and with the intention of staying forever. closing mouths includes 4 tracks of 4 major artists and the name isn t coincidental. it s time to shut many mouths that don t rely on this kind of music the first one closing mouths (a1) has been signed by the owners of the label (strange connection) is the first time published in properproud. a track of pure ebm, dark and evil but with great force and which has received great support from artists like angel molina and dave clarke who has played several times in his white noise radio show. the second one hurt me (a2) has been signed by jonathann cast in collaboration with the voices of drey. after publishing in dancefloor killers come to properproud and do it in a forceful and dark track that can move any dance floor. bluntly electro-techno and without mercy! on b side, we find 2 of the best signings he has made during that properproud parentheses. in the first cut (b1) adriano canzian, currently one of the most bizarre techno artists, with halim the dream shows because david carretta and dj hell is set in it. a brutal track, direct and intended to enjoy it in a club. dave clarke has supported it without hesitation. and to finish off the ep, ruben montesco (b2), after his passage through lasergun and other labels turn to properproud to demonstrate in madrid that also makes good techno and ebm. insomniac s red room is a dark track, evil but with a lot of energy and a perfect voice. rubÚn besides being a great friend and supporter of properproud is undoubtedly one of the best producers of this style at national level. 4 tracks that shape a piece of craft for lovers of brazen sounds and is the first of a series of 12 inch that will see the light soon and will be limited to 250 copies. properproud is back .... stop the minimal. use your brain!

adf, aka adriano filippucci which manages to achieve a homogeneous fusion combining the euphoric feeling of techno and the vibrant soul of house. the title track, >perugia< is named after adrianos hometown in the heart of italy. whether it is the warmth of the sun or the mediterranean lust for life, perugia turns out to be a massive track, with its sparking melodies and a real sense of atmosphere and dynamic mischief. perugia gets the remix treatment from two of the directors at the highgrade headquarters. todd bodine sends the track firmly in the direction of detroit and into some new sonic territory. label boss tom clark sets the focus on the tracks technoid energy and simply lets the groove run away on route to its own destination. avanti avanti, amici!!
