r&s welcome dutch dance icon maarten van der vleuten back into the fold. outrage is a compilation of maarten van der vleutens integrity project tracks, originally released on r&s sub-label outrage recordings in 1992, now remastered by matt colton maarten van der vleuten is one of the most influential figures in the dutch scene, and also a man of many aliases - between 1987 to 2007 he racked up releases with over two dozen projects producing detroit techno, electro, house, experimental and ambient tracks and remixes.

in the beginning of 1991 marius kuilenberg and maarten van der vleuten teamed up together and recorded two eeps for djax, *magic moments* and *...gives you central house*. marius being a dj with a great feeling for production and with a large collection of samples and maarten being a musician/technician with an own studio, turned out to be a good combination. after the two releases mentioned above, marius and maarten split up. marius focused on dj-ing only and maarten continued working as major malfunction on his own.

maarten van der vleuten iss an old school dutch techno producer known for releases on r&s, tz, djax, signum etc. nice to see him back on vinyl with >lost control<, which is an electro version of joy divisions >she s lost control<. and some other cool tracks he did in the last year. cool electronix with some techno influences... somehow even reminds of some aphex twin worx. limited to 300 handnumbered copies with a cover that is silkscreen printed, colour print on the inside and free download code.... nice package!
