They first recorded together on "The Orb"s adventures beyond the ultraworld" in 1991 and The Heavens in 2021. Alex is the forefather of ambient electronic music and has put out 17 albums by The Orb and multiple other releases over the band"s 30 year career. He"s released collaborative albums with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Lee "Scratch" Perry.
