Supplement Facts on point once again!! this time with WERNER NIEDERMEIER (soul camp, flying, audio culture)!!

INFO
Werner Niedermeier is a name many of you may not be familiar with. If that's the case? Take note! This guy is set for a big 2009! Werner's career began way back in early 90's Germany. Starting out behind the decks, his DJ'ing saw him play some of the worlds finest clubs. Metro (Mexico), Yellow (Tokyo), Fabric & The End (London) and the Rex (Paris), all experienced his creative sets.

1999 saw the creation of his own record label 'Soul Camp Recordings' alongside production partner Sefty. Releases and remixes from and for, Phonique, Robert Owens, Reel people and Terry Callier followed, and after residing in Berlin for many years, Niedermeier decided upon a move to London, via a one year stop-over in Mallorca.

London saw him work for the infamous Flying Records, and join production outfit 'Notenshun'. The act went on to release 2 albums (Traffic and Unfinished Business) and a host of releases. In 2004 Werner launched Audio Culture Recordings. A label that has been an outlet for his co-prodution work alongside DJ Sefty (Audio Nature), Anthea (JC Freaks) and Gordon from Blackbeard (Motion City).

2009 will see Werner, release and remix material for Phonica, Mobilee, Mujuba, and today Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts. The 'Come And Talk' E.P. is a three track selection of the finest modern house grooves. We start with the aptly named 'Open Up'. Percussion is the order of the day. Great hats', scattered toms', and a delicate vocal work the track along in a stripped down style.

On 'Talking Back' we have Werner upping the ante and the tempo. Cheeky vocal stab, and drum pattern lead us to the devastating bass drop... and we're only 1 min 45 in! Locking us down with the heaviest of grooves, we're jacked along on a wave of funk till out of nowhere, BAM.. magical disco breakdown, funk guitar licks and sultry vocal. Then we're off again with the bassline pushing us along. This is huge!!

Closing the show is 'Can't You See'. Ethnic drum work, psychotic Hitchcock'esq, cascading synth-line, and hypnotic female vocal, make for a driving, dark room number.

Supplement Facts on point once again. The label's releases are always completely relevant, yet every time they manage to deliver new and exciting angles in their music, something that is essential in today's never-ending tide of house music.
