born and raised in the kalakuta republic and having witnessed music from the four corners of the world, the kalakuta soul system has put up its own and long overdue music label to reach out with inspiring gems they had held secret for a long time. bringing finely selected releases from the most respected producers and djs, the kalakuta soul system meticulously discusses the content of each and every tracklist leaving the headquarter of their kalakuta republic. the first release on kalakuta soul records comes from the elementary spine of the kalakuta soul system that goes under the name cuttlefish & asparagus, a vital combination of vinyl collectors and meticulous sound engineers that have worked for almost 20 years on inspiring cuts and rough jams. all tracks are produced with a single aluminum fork and a ceramic pasta dish.
