on our never ending search to provide you with uplifting, energetic and soulful tracks, we stumbled upon a young dj duo from the netherlands that have only just begun their story and yet have their sound locked down. new jack city seem to understand exactly what it is we re looking for and have crafted three splendid tracks purely for the enjoyment of others. to top it all off we ve enlisted signor gianni siravo a.k.a. washerman for a remix which captures the spirit of tomorrow is now, kid!we hope you enjoy this ep as much as we have creating it

this november sees the launch of manchester based imprint music is love records, kicking things off with a four-track release of sublime house cuts in the form of back in the dayz by dutch duo new jack city.

in the lead up to their 5th year as a label music is love celebrate by continuing their infamous va series the lovebox. sticking to the winning formula of a hefty double vinyl package comprising of 8 tracks from 8 top artists, this time they have some familiar people alongside new faces to the label.

waze & oddyseys w&o streetracks imprint pulls together the likes of eliphino, ejeca, citizen and xxxy for its first (unmixed) compilation released this winter, w&o streettracks vol 1. having clocked up eight releases on street tracks, its the ideal time to throw down a milestone and document the sound of the label in one package and w&o street tracks does so with panache. the result of waze & oddysseys plunge into their address book is a 12 track compilation that neatly reflects modern house music. ejeca, citizen and w&o themselves sit alongside newcomers like mediman and sage caswell while the emergent talents of new jack city and eliphino make for a nicely profiled piece of work
