vinyl only. after releases on top notch labels such as witty tunes and mile end, young italian dj and producer niceteed debuts on my little dog with a solid vinyl ep. 2 tracks of underground music, which wobble in that fine line between techno and tech house. straight rhythms, dark voices and playful and malignant analog synths are the hallmarks of both songs.

the original mix of >amygdala< by joe joyce offers a revival of more traditional techno rhythms, accompanied by oriental percussion and bell like timbres. vocal drones instill a feeling of suspense and darkness, before a release of melodic gamelans calm and soothe your amydalas fight or flight response. enjoy the ride! amygdala is supported by two exceptional remixes from maya jane coles and nadja lind, which take the track to completely different corners.

a veteran of force inc., !k7, tommy boy, swim, and warp, one-time lfo member and current g-man gez varley brings his protean techno mastery to persistencebit with two originals and two >g-11< mixes by carsten fietz and nadja lind. varley anchors his pulverizing g-man mix of >slaunch< with a colossal kick drum and drenches its galloping pulse with cobra-like streams.
