this latest 12 comes courtesy of phil mison & pete herberts much lauded reverso 68 project. baa boo is exactly the kind of blissfully dreamy groove we have come to expect from this accomplished production duo, musical, melodic and tailormade for sunnier climes. on the flip we have piano 89, pretty self explanatory really, but for the benefit of those not pushing 40, its an old school house jam, drenched in the kind of italo piano hook that used to ignite late 80s dancefloors and is destined to do the same some 20 years on - magical.

specialist interest is back!! with a huge release from mr. pete herbert, a tremendous release to inject a new lease of life into the label. a1: well heeled - melodic bass line with snyth stabs and arpeggio, a very big room sound. the track builds with a great groove and very spacey sounds. killer track!! a2: earthy powers - popping synth line really makes this track! gentle bass adds to the groove and widens the sound with a funky guitar riff adding an organic feel. vocal is a brilliant addition.

reverso 68 are pete herbert and phil mison. after tokyo disco and especial this is already their third outing on eskimo. piece together was released three years ago in a very limited run on their own specialist interest label, but both the guys and eskimo thought it deserved to be heard by a larger audience. as a special bonus theres an amazing slow motion disco remix by norwegian wonderboy todd terje.
